Bob has practiced in his hometown of Peterborough, ON since 1974. His practice focuses on all facets of commercial and residential real estate transactions. Bob routinely acts for commercial bankers in the preparation of commercial mortgages, as well as individual home-owners completing re-financings of their homes and cottages.

Bob can assist clients with preparing their Last Will and Testament and Powers of Attorney, estate administration and estate planning, corporate and business law and civil litigation. Bob has appeared as a guest lecturer at several Ontario Bar Association seminars, covering topics involving rural and urban real estate transactions, land use planning and related issues.

Bob is able to provide counsel to corporate clients and assist them from the inception of their corporation, through governance and compliance whilst operating the business and all the way through to the end when it comes time to the sell the assets or shares of the corporation.

Bob's clients include business owners, real estate developers, home builders, municipalities, real estate investors, financial institutions, charities & not-for-profits and individuals.

    Bob has been active in his community and has taken distinct pleasure in assisting not-for-profit organizations:
  • Separate School Board Trustee (1975-1977)
  • Member of Big Brothers Association (1977-1984)
  • Member and Past President of Peterborough Sales and Advertising Association (1989)
  • Member and Past President of Greater Peterborough Chamber of Commerce (2003)
  • Served on numerous Boards of Directors including Canadian Mental Health Association and other not-for-profit Boards and charitable organizations
  • Counsel to Peterborough and District Sports Hall of Fame and Kids in Need (K.I.N.) Inc. and many other not-for-profit and charitable organizations
  • Bob is one of the famous "Three Loonies", which has raised over $750,000 for Kawartha Food Share during the annual "Three Loonies on the Street"
  • Bob is the only lawyer in Peterborough County to receive the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, which was awarded to only 60,000 Canadians and is based upon the recipient's significant contributions to their community
